Alexa is a New York City based actor, dancer, singer, and voiceover artist originally from The Woodlands, Texas (Houston Metro). As a youngster, after giving up her short-lived dream of being a mail carrier, it was clear that she was better suited for a career in the entertainment industry.
Alexa competed her first tap solo at the age of five and for the next six years, she found much success in the dance competition and convention circuit through her passion, dedication, and tenacity. At age eleven, she had to put dancing on hold for a year and a half as she recovered from surgery. During that time, she took interest in acting and singing and began her training at Theatre Under The Stars (TUTS) education academy, The Humphreys School of Musical Theatre. During her time at TUTS, she was given the opportunity to perform in a number of mainstage productions. Alexa learned a tremendous amount from all the artists she had the good fortune of working with, and the experiences/exposure served as the ultimate learning ground.
She is currently in her Senior year in the Arts, Media, and Entertainment program at The University of Arizona as a part-time student while touring the country as Kaylee on The Prom National Tour.
