Audrey is a Broadway performer living in New York City. She is currently in THE MUSIC MAN, appearing in the ensemble and understudying the role of Marian Paroo.
Born and raised in Birmingham, Alabama, Audrey started dancing at age 5. Audrey and her sister took the dance van from their elementary school to Jackie O’Neal School of Dance every afternoon. Audrey grew up watching movie musicals religiously, and when she was 7, Audrey saw Carol Channing in the national tour of Hello Dolly in Birmingham - forever changed! Adolescent highlights: She did her first community theatre production at age 12, dancing in the ensemble of THE MUSIC MAN. She did The Naming of Cats for her middle school poetry reading contest (did not win but that’s neither here nor there). She spent five years, from age 13-18, training with Red Mountain Theatre Company. She went on to study at Penn State University and received her BFA in Musical Theatre.
During college, Audrey spent a summer at the Muny, where she got her Equity card. Her first job after graduating was as a swing on the first national tour of ANYTHING GOES. She later went on to play Alice Murphy in the first national tour of BRIGHT STAR, where she assumed the role from Tony nominee Carmen Cusack. Most recently, she played Cordelia in national tour of the Lincoln Center Revival of FALSETTOS, directed by James Lapine.
This year, exactly 20 years since doing her first musical, Audrey made her Broadway debut in THE MUSIC MAN.
She is a proud mama to 2 dogs, Fiona (as in Fiona from Brigadoon) and Fitzgerald (as in Ella and F. Scott).
