About Madison Claire Parks:
Hailed by the LA Times for her "pitch-perfect soprano" and "Broadway-caliber belt," Madison has established herself as a prominent force for the next generation of classical leading ladies.
Madison can currently be seen in the ensemble of the Broadway National Tour of WICKED, where she also understudies the role of Glinda. She is also most well known for starring as Luisa in the historic Off-Broadway production of THE FANTASTICKS for over 400 performances. She recently returned Off-Broadway to star as Genevieve in Stephen Schwartz's revised New York premiere of THE BAKER’S WIFE with J2 Spotlight at Theatre Row, singing the iconic “Meadowlark.”
Madison’s career has brought her across the country starring in classic roles such as: Nellie Forbush in Rodgers & Hammerstein's SOUTH PACIFIC, opposite Broadway's Ben Davis as Emile de Becque, with Rubicon Theatre Company and The Harrisburg Symphony, Sarah Brown in GUYS & DOLLS with both Musical Theatre West and Theatre Under The Stars, Laurey Williams in Rodgers & Hammerstein's OKLAHOMA! with North Shore Music Theatre and Musical Theatre West, and Lilli Vanessi / Kate in KISS ME KATE with The Arts Center of Coastal Carolina.
Career highlights include her most recent run as Clara Johnson in Adam Guettel's Tony Award winning musical THE LIGHT IN THE PIAZZA at the California Center for the Arts in Esondido, starring as Portia in the West Coast regional premiere of SOMETHING ROTTEN! with Musical Theatre West directed by Broadway cast member Josh Grisetti, and being among the first few actresses to portray the character of Susanna in the new musical comedy DESPERATE MEASURES at Saint Michaels Playhouse. Madison also starred Off-Broadway as Katherine Talbot in Lerner and Loewe's THE DAY BEFORE SPRING, at The York Theatre Company; the first time the complete piece was done in New York since its original run on Broadway in 1943. Other favorite roles include: Cosette in LES MISÉRABLES, Hedy LaRue in HOW TO SUCCEED IN BUSINESS WITHOUT REALLY TRYING, Precious in STEEL PIER, and Daisy Mae in the Los Angeles adaptation of LI’L ABNER.
Madison is a frequent guest artist with numerous orchestras and symphonies across the country having performed with the Rochester Philharmonic, the Nashville Symphony, The Florida Orchestra, Grant Park Orchestra and Music Festival in Chicago, and many more.
Born and raised in Los Angeles, California to a musical family, Madison is a third generation performer. She dedicates her work to her grandmother; MGM Star Betty Garrett.
